Racing is a great way to improve your overall sailing skills, fine tune your sail trim, maximize your boat speed and just getting on the water to sail around the marks with friends. You will learn about racing tactics and strategies, starts, mark roundings, boat speed, and the racing rules. Lots of focused on-the-water time will further your sailing skills even if you don't plan to continue to race.
Prerequisite: Participants must be at least 14 years of age or older and have successfully completed Beginning Sailing (Lido 1), or have recent equivalent dinghy sailing experience.
