The Mariner Continuing Education program includes USCG approved courses to further professional mariners working towards upgrading or renewing licensing requirements, preparing for USCG assessments and learning the skills needed to advance their careers. This part of the Waterfront Campus also includes courses for recreational mariners. Our courses are United States Coast Guard (USCG) approved and Standards for Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) compliant and designed to meet and exceed the training standards of the USCG’s National Maritime Center (NMC). Many of these courses are supported by state-of-the-art ship-handling and navigation simulators.
