J/22 Summer Racing
Location: Marina Park
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Intermediate Keelboat Sailing or equivalent experience. Participants must be able to swim 50 yards.
Join us for Monday night racing aboard Marina Park’s J/22. A popular performance keelboat, the J22 is very responsive and fun to sail. Monday night racing in the Sundowner Racing Series on Newport Harbor (non-spinnaker), sponsored by American Legion Yacht Club, is competitive but fun! Whether you are a seasoned racer or just want to get a taste of the action, you’ll participate in every aspect of getting the boat to the starting line, driving, trimming and making tactical decisions.
