Adult Learn to Sail >> Youth Summer Sailing Camps
« back to courses page
Sailing camp offers youth ages 7 to 13 a unique chance to learn the art of sailing in an environment that emphasizes safety, skill development, and fun. While exploring local waterways, campers will discover the magic of sailing and gain the confidence to handle a small boat safely.
Along the way, young sailors also build life skills—teamwork, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of science, technology, and the marine environment. Our certified instructors support students at every level, helping each child build new skills and gain confidence on the water.
Each day includes a mix of classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and on-the-water practice. Campers work together to rig, sail, and de-rig Lido 14 dinghies while learning new skills and reviewing daily lessons. STEM activities, environmental topics, games, and special events add variety and excitement throughout the week.
