With paper charts being phased out US Sailing is building a new suit of certifications with a focus on electronic navigation. The new US Sailing Navigation 1 certification will be available to students in 2025. The traditional US SAILING Coastal Navigation Certification is available to students with prior navigation experience on a challenge basis.
